We also have 2 new shows coming up in September, thus bringing some much needed ass kicking rock to our fair city! Will Denver ever be the same? Grab your drinking boots and come on out!
07.23.08 | MASTERING COMPLETE We have finished the Mastering 10 of the 11 songs for our new album Polarity. The mastering was complete by Airshow in Boulder, Colorado. We're busy trying to settle on an idea for artwork. Our first live performance will be up at Evergroove Studio's on August 16th for their 2 year anniversary.

04.10.08 | studio update - the next phase All of the parts are tracked in now, and so begins the mixing of the album. This is as much of an art form as anything else we've done, and we are very fortunate to have the talented Brad Smalling along for the ride, and helping us to bring this baby forth into the world. Brad is a great engineer and understands how we want this album to rock for you all, so with a measure of patience and a burning desire to kick some tail, we're looking forward to fitting all the parts into place.
We're also lining up some mastering engineers to do the final touches at the Grammy Award nominated Airshow Mastering in Boulder. We're pretty grateful to have all this talent within short reach of the Denver Metro area!
peace,
Jeff,Darren,Paul
04.07.08 | studio update- still tracking! yep- still putting down the last of the vocal tracks.. Jeff and I finished up the guitars last Tuesday. Vocals were the last thing to lay down and we should be finished soon, then it's off to mixing! I posted another video under the downloads section- unzip and QuickTime should be able to view it.

03.30.08 | 3 days gone Jeff and Darren finished up bass lines for all 11 songs. With hardly any time to spare for the day the studio let us lay down all percussion tracks. It was a great day for me to lounge on the couch and watch the other two create the bottom end of it all. We had some discussion on the title of the new album. It's difficult to find a theme that we will all be pleased with. We have an idea of the layout we would like for the CD now. Jeff is brainstorming some artwork for the cover.
03.29.08 | studio update We finished up the second day of recording at Evergroove last night. Paul is happy as all his drum tracks are recorded now- sounds awesome! Brad the engineer and hs wife Jenny are great folks, we are having a blast up here in the mountains. Nice to get away from the city a bit and concentrate full on for this album. Can't wait to get it out to you all. Brad brought in an assistant Julie for the first 2 days and she has her own group called the Mile Markers. Find them on MySpace.
We got a bass line tracked in last night too and we are starting on the rest of those tracks then it's time for the guitars (which Jeff and I are really excited to get to! there are so many guitar tools to play with, hahahaha)
The gallery section on the website has some pics of day one and two. Theres a pic of Paul the keyboard player that also came up from Castle Rock the first day to put some sweet stuff on 2 songs. You're gonna love it!

03.12.08 | headed to the studio! finally! Darren here- we are headed into Evergroove Studio at the end of this month and we will have hopefully 10-11 songs on a new album in the next few months!
02.11.08 | band news early 2008 and stuff aw crap, how long has it been since a post? We've been at Winter Park, Table Steaks East and McDonough's Pub since the last.
We are getting ready to hit the studio this spring and we think we have a bass player coming on board so we can properly deliver the two guitar attack this band really deserves. We're putting some summer festivals in our sights too so we have a busy year already and it's barely started yet.
Podcast coming back again soon, we hope.

08.27.07 | geting ready for getting ready for the Avon gig next month. Anyone up in the Vail valley want to put us up for the night? We would be eternally grateful!
In other news, we got some cool FM radio play on the 103.5 Lewis and Floorwax show last Friday. Nothing like Whiskey Driver for your morning drive time!
We have all our songs ready to go for the studio. Want to donate to the effort? We'll put you in the liner notes! Maybe we could run a contest or something... hmmmm.
K then until later
peace,

07.22.07 | so hot in the summertime, oh yes we are Hey! I'm blogging in the checkout line at the grocery store, and speaking of, we are shopping for studios- can't wait to get in and lay it all down! It'll be killer stuff! I was playing some telecaster guitars this week, and maybe I'll get one to play on our records someday- but fun to play at the music store until then! ha.
We have a few live shows coming up in the next few months, including the 16th Street Mall's Paramount Cafe, and it's always cool! Have you seen the new pictures? It's in the 'gallery" section under "The Gang"
till next time,
peace

07.12.07 | Surfing the website Yea, I decided to check on my band's official website and ponder around a bit. I've receved some good comments on the page from people. I'm also posting a blog for my first time. Blogging sounds like something a sensitive person would do, Oh Gee whiz... I told my ex-guitarist who was promoted to bassist to update the band bio and get some new pictures posted. Christ, we only spent a day taking pictures last month by his patient wife and we have nothing posted. Well, if we do, I'm not going to spend time an look for them. Additionally my guitarist is enjoing a well deserved vacation with the family and I'm landing some gig's for the posse. Somebody get me a doctor!!!!!
05.27.07 | work work work yeah so I'm just working on getting some flyers done for the shows coming up, and checking email, and updating our calendars on our other sites, etc. My fingers hurt. Bad enough that I work with computers all day too. Oh well. Gotta practice later tonight too. I'm taking Memorial Day off tomorrow. Sleeping in!
